AHOSKIE – The Ahoskie Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the inaugural Heritage Day softball tournament.

The tournament will be played September 9 and 10 at the Ahoskie Creek Recreation Complex.

There will be an entry fee of $125 per team with each team guaranteed at least two games.

Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third place finishers.

Each team will be allowed up to 15 players on their roster.

Registration and roster forms can be picked up at the Ahoskie Recreation Center.

The deadline for registration is August 31.
