GATES – Jane Carol Ballard, 61, of Gates died Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Upper Room Assembly Church, Gatesville. Burial will follow in the Ballard family cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, is handling the arrangements.
