LAKE WACCAMAW – Steven George Theodorakis, 34 of Lake Waccamaw, N.C.,  died Saturday, June 11, 2011 at Duke University Hospital.

Steven attended Peace United Methodist Church, Whiteville, N.C.

Survivors include his father and mother, George and Betty H.  Theodorakis of Lake Waccamaw; a brother, Michael W. Theodorakis of Lake Waccamaw; uncles, Michael Theodorakis and wife, Karen, of Kill Devil Hills, John Theodorakis of Greenville, Bill Theodorakis and wife, Betsy, of Murfreesboro, Ronald Howell and wife, Carolyn, of The Villages, Florida, and Mitchell Howell and wife, Josie, of Willow Springs; aunts, Irene Zervos and husband, Michael, of Detroit, Michigan and Fannie Wager of New Port Richie, Florida; special cousins and the families of Tony and Greg Theodorakis .

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, June 15, 2011 at Lake Waccamaw First Baptist Church with the Rev. Al Marshburn and the Rev. Trudy Wilder officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Waccamaw Cemetery.

Visitation will be Tuesday night, June 14, 2011 at McKenzie Mortuary from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
