One arrested, one sought in B&E

COLERAIN – One man is in custody and another is being sought in connection with a breaking and entering that occurred here May 24.

Kenneth Early Wynn, 63, was charged with felony breaking and entering and felony larceny after breaking and entering. He was arrested Friday and placed in the Bertie-Martin Regional Jail under a $20,000 cash bond.

The other suspect in the case, Early Dean Miller, has yet to be arrested, according to Bertie County Sheriff John Holley. Warrants have been drawn for Miller in connection with the incident as well.

According to Sheriff Holley, the two allegedly broke into a residence on May 24 and stole an air conditioner, toaster over and several other items.

Wynn was arrested after the investigation and warrants drawn for Miller.

“We are seeking any information as to Earl Miller’s whereabouts,” Sheriff Holley said. “If you have information, I ask that you call the Bertie County Sheriff’s Office (794-5330) or call my cell phone (724-1681). As always, we want information, not names.”
