AHOSKIE – Vanie Allen Simmons died Thursday, May 26, 2011 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie. Funeral services were held on Monday, May 30, 2011 at Ahoskie Christian Center, Ahoskie. Burial took place in the Pope Family Cemetery. Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, handled the arrangements.
