GATES – Madeline Parker, 80 of Gates, died Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City. Funeral services were held on Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at New Hope Baptist Church. Burial followed in the church cemetery.  Hunter’s Funeral Home, Gates, handled the arrangements.
