WINDSOR – Bertie Alumni Community Association (BACA) will host a Charity Bike Ride and Car Show from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Saturday, May 21 at the parking lot of Bertie High School.

BACA is hosting this event in conjunction with fellow Bertie alumnus who are members of the Tigers MC of Suffolk, VA, Screaming Panthers MC and Nu-South MC of Windsor, and the Buffalo Soldiers MC of New Jersey.

The Car Show supporters are Tim Bazemore, Rim Ryders Club and Mustang Club of Windsor.

For the purpose of education and awarding scholarships, the bikers and car show participants will donate $10 to ride, or to display their antique, classic and show-style cars.  Trophies will be awarded in different categories.  All proceeds benefit BACA Educational and Community Outreach programs.

Concessions will offer hot fish, chicken, hot dogs and other food items for sale.

Admission to the car show is free for non-participants and the public is invited to come out and view the classic and show-style cars and watch the bikers depart on the Charity Ride. The bikers will depart in two rounds, one at 10 a.m. and the other at 12 noon.

Bring your family, lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the concession food and music provided by Alumni DJ Raymond Wilson of Virginia.

In case of inclement weather, the event will be held beginning at 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 22.
