HARRELLSVILLE – Mary Elizabeth Beale Rountree, age 76 of Harrellsville, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at her home.

She was born March 3, 1935 in Northampton County to Clayton Beale and Bessie Vann Beale. She was the wife of the late Aubrey Leon Rountree.

She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother; a Homemaker and a member of Christian Harbor Baptist Church.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at the graveside in Harrellsville Cemetery.

Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Annette Thompson and her husband, Monte, and Lisa Perry and her husband, Jerry, both of Harrellsville; a son, Mike Rountree and his wife, Jennifer, of Lexington; five grandchildren, Jason Perry, Clay Thompson, Andy Thompson, Kelsey Rountree and Collin Rountree; two sisters, Betty Shackelford of Badin Lake, NC and Peggy Steele of Colonial Heights, VA; and a brother Twin Sumner of Annandale, VA.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a brother, C.W. Beale.
