COLERAIN – Mary Ruth Williams, 50, a resident of  Moore’s Family Care Home, Colerain, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.

A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Colerain Church, Colerain.

She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Leary Jr.

Survivors include her mother, Mae M. Robbins Leary of Colerain; a son, Alexander Williams Jr. of Virginia; a daughter, Leander Williams of Colerain; brothers, Ernest L. Robbins (Phyllis) of Colerain and Willie Ray Leary (Carrie) of Windsor; and five grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 25, 2011 at Zion Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Colerain, with the Rev. Nathaniel Thompson officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
