WINTON – Wendell Avery Pope, 40, died Friday, April 8, 2011 at Down East Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at the Native American Indian Church, Winton. Burial will be in the Pleasant Plains Church Cemetery, Winton. Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
