PLEASANT HILL – Leander Simmons, 76, of Pleasant Hill died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Halifax Regional Medical Center, Roanoke Rapids. Graveside services were held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at the Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, Halifax. H.D. Pope Funeral Home, Roanoke Rapids, handled the arrangements.
