AHOSKIE – Ms. Madessia Herring-Cruz of Guardian Care Nursing Home, Ahoskie, NC passed on Tuesday, March 8, 2011.

She is the daughter of the late Alto and Elizabeth Herring, born in Suffolk, Virginia.

She is survived by three children, Cynthia Beard-Grady, Mozelle Gantt and Larry Gantt; grandchildren; and three sisters, Theresa Archer, Dorothy Flood and Ardieth Herring.

At her request no service will be held.

Reynolds Funeral Home of Ahoskie is entrusted with final arrangements.
