AULANDER – Kenneth Lee Himelright, age 74, died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Kenneth was born on February 16, 1937 in Shenandoah County, VA. He was preceded in death by his father, Christopher Stuart Himelright.

Survivors include his mother, Alice Payne of Strausburg, VA; his loving wife of 48 years, Rebecca Himelright of Aulander; his two daughter, Pamela K. Morrison and husband, Chip, of Summit Point, West VA and Teresa Hildenbrand and husband, Jerry, of Inwood, West VA; his five grandchildren, Travis, Nick, Luke, Trey and Hayden; and his two great grandchildren, Jacob and Landon.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Ebenezer Assembly of God Church of Aulander with the Rev. Tim Parker officiating. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Friday, March 4, 2011 at Massey Funeral Home in Aulander.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ebenezer Assembly of God Church, Aulander, or Ahoskie Hospice Association.
