WINTON – Joshuea David Roberson, 24, of 203 Tunis Road, Winton, died Saturday, February 12, 2011 in his home.

Joshuea was born in Hertford County and was the son of Melvin Lee Jr. and Patricia Chappell Roberson of Winton.

A construction worker, he attended Closer Walk Ministries Church.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Herman Ray Sr. and Rosa Umphlette Chappell.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his paternal grandparents, Melvin Lee Sr. and Anna Wilson Roberson of Suffolk, VA; a sister, Mindy Belair and husband, Michael, of Jacksonville, FL; a brother, Derrick Lee Roberson and companion, Tamra Good, of Winton; three nephews, Tyler, Logan and Skyler Roberson; and a close friend, Benjamin Harrell.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Closer Walk Ministries Church by Pastor Michael Blow.

Friends may join the family at the residence.

Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, is assisting the family with arrangements.
