The Villages, FL – Marian Turner Eure, 72, of 2101 Barbosa Court, and formerly of Chesapeake, VA and Ahoskie, NC died Monday, January 3, 2011 in The Villages Hospital.

Mrs. Eure was born in Winton, Hertford County, NC and was the daughter of the late Johnnie Paul and Margaret Doughtie Turner.  A graduate of East Carolina University, she was a retired teacher from the Virginia Beach, VA public school system, and was a member of Winton Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband, Judson Eure; and many extended family members and dear friends.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. in Winton Baptist Church by the Rev. Joseph Futrell.  Burial will follow in the Ahoskie Cemetery.

Friends may join the family Friday, January 7 from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. in Miller Funeral Home, 304 Main Street, Gatesville, and in the social hall of the church immediately following the service on Saturday.
