Jean Langston Liverman

BENSON, NC – Jean Langston Liverman, 78, passed away the seventh of December in 2010, in Benson, NC.

She had been a long time resident of Kill Devil Hills, NC, where she lived with her husband, Charles Maddrey Liverman, Sr., of nearly sixty years.

She was raised in Eure, NC, traveled with her Air Force husband throughout the globe and first retired in Murfreesboro, N.C., where she owned a florist for over twenty years.

She is preceded in death by her oldest son, Charles Maddrey Liverman Jr. and her youngest brother, William Isaac Langston of Murfreesboro, N.C., who both passed away earlier this year.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Maddrey Liverman Sr. of Kill Devil Hills, NC; her son, Benjamin Joseph Liverman II of Palm Springs, CA, and daughter, Toni Liverman McKay, and husband, John Scott McKay, both of Dunn, NC.  In addition, she is survived by her sister Rebecca Langston Tinkham of Eure, N.C.; and her brothers, John Wesley Langston of Norfolk, VA, and Reverend Timothy Otis Langston Jr. of Gretna, VA.

She requests to forego any formal funeral ceremony; however, she planned a springtime celebration of her life with family and friends at the Ruritan Club in Eure, NC.
