GATES – George Shepherd “Tip” Mathias, 82, of 455 Willeyton Road, Gates, died Thursday, November 25, 2010 in Sentara Obici Hospital, Suffolk, VA. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 28, 2010 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, who is handling the arrangements. A private burial at Eureka Baptist Church Cemetery will follow at a later time.
