AHOSKIE – Paul Alton and Murrell T. Holloman of Ahoskie celebrated their 64^th wedding anniversary on Oct. 18.

They were married by the Rev. Oscar Creech on Oct. 18, 1946. The couple has always lived in Ahoskie.

They both retired in October of 1985 – Paul as the owner and operator of the Tastee-Freez Drive-In and Murrell after 40 years of service with United Telephone (now Century Link).

During this year’s wedding anniversary, the couple celebrated the event with their children – Paul Davy Holloman of Moncure, C, Debra Elizabeth Holloman of Hendersonville, NC – and with their grandson, Bruce Eric Holloman of Hendersonville.
