ROANOKE RAPIDS – Hurley Lee Parker, 71, died Wednesday, November 3, 2010 at Becker Manor in Roanoke Rapids.

He was a native of Franklin, Virginia and had been preceded in death by his first wife, Brenda Parker, one son, Michael Parker, and a step son, James Beasley.

A member of Conway Baptist Church, he is survived by his wife, Faye Parker; two sons, James Parker and David Parker; a step son, Doug Piland; two step daughters, Diane Gregory and Billie Jean Britt; and five grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 5, 2010 in the Colosse Baptist Church Cemetery, 6361 Rhodes Drive, Windsor VA, with the Rev. Willie McLawhorn presiding.
