ENFIELD – Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Willoughby Parker, age 73, died at Nash General Hospital in Rocky Mount on September 12, 2010.

She was a member of the Enfield Baptist Church in Enfield.  She was married to Norman “Pete” Parker in 1958.  Mrs. Parker worked as a pharmacy assistant for Drum’s Pharmacy where she retired.  She was very devoted to her family and friends.  Mrs. Parker was always available to help someone in need and will be truly missed by everyone who knew her.

Preceding her in death are her mother and father, Helen Atkins Willoughby and Elbert Willoughby; two sisters, Jean Willoughby and Helen McPherson; and two brothers, Eddie and Earl Willoughby.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of fifty-two years, Norman “Pete” Parker; one son, William Harding Parker and Becky Parker along with their daughter, Erin Leigh Parker, of Battleboro, NC; two sisters, Katie Hyatt and her husband, Hank, and Anne Parker and her husband, Carlton, all of Ahoskie, NC; and two brothers, Phillip Willoughby and his wife, Patricia, of Statesville, NC and Bill Willoughby of his wife, Mary Lee, of Wilson, NC.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Elmwood Cemetery in Enfield, NC with the Rev. Marc Sanders officiating.

The family will receive friends following the graveside service at Elmwood.
