Melvin Spivey, 61, of Cofield died Monday, August 23, 2010 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2010 at Philippi Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Hunter’s Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
