AHOSKIE – Ridgecroft School won a grueling five-set match here Tuesday afternoon.

The Lady Rams outlasted Northampton County High School – East 25-5, 25-11, 22-25, 22-25 and 15-4.

The win gave Ridgecroft a 1-0 record for the season.

In junior varsity action, the Lady Rams of Northampton-East secured a 26-24, 25-10 victory.

The loss dropped Ridgecroft to 0-1 for the season.
