Elizabeth Beamon, 88, of Franklinton died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Duke Hospital in Durham.
She was a native of Gates.
Survivors include a son, Bonnie Beamon of Charlotte; two daughters, Norma Beamon of Franklinton and Geneva Beamon Saunders of Corapeake; a brother, Grady Saunders of Waterbury, Conn.; a sister, Erma Saunders Gooby of Aiken, SC and five grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 15, 2010 at Hertford County Undertakers’ Gates Chapel in Sunbury with Rev. William Norman officiating.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
