Dorothy Eason Bland, 84 of Colerain, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital. A native of Halifax County, she was a homemaker and attended Colerain Methodist Church.
Survivors include her daughters, Rhonda Bland Worrell and Cynthia Dean Bland, both of Colerain; sisters, Mary Moore of Roanoke Rapids and Dolly Denver of Kentucky; a brother, William Eason of Roanoke Rapids and one grandchild.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 12 at Harrellsville Cemetery. Rev Walter Johnson will officiate.
Garrett-Jones Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
