Tommie Outlaw, 70, of 625 NC 461, Ahoskie died Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at his residence.
Born on January 25, 1940 in Hertford County, he was President of Usher Board at Calvary Baptist Church, Ahoskie, and a member of Jerusalem Lodge # 96.
He was last employed in the janitorial and maintenance department of Easco Aluminum Company.
Outlaw was preceded in death by his parents, James and Anna Outlaw
Survivors include his wife, Mary Cain Outlaw of the home; a son, Tommie T. Sessoms (Taneshia) of Ahoskie; two daughters, Love Malinda Sessoms and Ann Johnson of Maryland; two brothers, Johnnie Outlaw (Bonnie), Howard Earl Outlaw (Susie), both of Ahoskie; two sisters, Bernice Sessoms (Herbert) and Mary Ashe both of Ahoskie; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church, Ahoskie, with Rev. H. H. Murrell officiating. Burial will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Ahoskie.
