Margie Mae Stephenson, 81, of Murfreesboro died Sunday, May 30, 2010 at her residence.
Survivors include two sons, Ernest S. Stephenson and Vernor I. Stephenson, both of Murfreesboro; four daughters, Madesta Pope of Murfreesboro, Maurice Blythe of Leesbury, Va., Daphine Charity of Richmond, Va. and Celestine Worthington of Carrollton, Va.; three brothers, James Gatling of Amityville, NY, Emanuel Gatling of New York, New York and Johnnie Gatling of Murfreesboro; four sisters, Onethia Manley of Ahoskie, Armenthia Gatling, Annie Parker and Lois Gatling, all of Murfreesboro; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2010 at Parker’s Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Fernando E. Temple Sr. officiating. Burial will take place in Carver Park Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
