Edgar Edmonds Jr., 75, of Jackson died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at his home.
He was a Marine and owned his own insulation business.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Parks Edmonds; his children, Cheryl E. Lane of Sahuarita, Ariz., Gary Edgar Edmonds of Weldon, Ricky Alan Edmonds of Tucson, Ariz. and Lisa Edmonds Zirkle of Bristow, Va.; a sister, Bessie Shieflett of Franklin, Va.; nine grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, May 21 at Jackson Cemetery in Jackson with the Rev. Bobby Turner officiating. The family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home from 1 until 2:30 p.m. prior to services.
