Michael Lee Vaughan, 35, of Merry Hill died Sunday, May 16, 2010 in Merry Hill.
Born in Hertford County, he was employed as a truck driver with Commercial Ready Mix.
Survivors include a son, Rayquane Gatling of Ahoskie; a daughter, Helema Hewitt of Brooklyn, NY; his mother, Elizabeth Futrell of Ahoskie; his father and step-mother, Roger and Darlene Vaughan of Ahoskie; three brothers, Roger Vaughan II, Joearl Vaughan and Darnell Vaughan, all of Ahoskie; and a sister, Melissa Vaughan of Colerain.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 22 at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Mercer officiating.
Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
