Hattie M. Bass-Marshall, 74, of Philadelphia, Pa. died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Bertie County.
Survivors include her husband, Charles Marshall Sr. of Philadelphia, Pa.; a son, Charles Marshall Jr. of Dover, Del.; two daughters, Kathy Marshall of Philadelphia, Pa. and Debbie McKinnon of Pennsylvania; a sister, Mary Thomas of Virginia Beach, Va. five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 22 at First Baptist Powellsville. Burial will take place in the Askew Family Cemetery.
