Betty H. Hardy, 64, of Ahoskie died Saturday, May 15, 2010 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Born in Bertie County, she was a member of Zion Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Alfred Hardy of Greenville; a son, Mark Horton; six brothers, James R. Futrell of Ahoskie, James C. Futrell of Aulander, Thomas Earl Futrell and James A. Futrell, both of Ahoskie, Milton Horton of Washington, DC and Calvin Futrell of Ahoskie; six sisters, Mary Crawford of Gates and Geraldine Sessoms, Patricia Parker, Thelma Futrell, Elizabeth Futrell and Bettie Futrell, all of Ahoskie.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 22 at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. James Mercer officiating. Burial will take place in the church cemetery.
