Wayne Edward Davis, 47, of Governor’s Road, Lewiston, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
Born in Newark, New Jersey, he was a self-employed plumber.
Survivors include his wife, Eleanor Watson Davis of the home; two sons, Meco Watson and Darryl Watson, both of Lewiston; a daughter, Takara Harrell of Ahoskie; three brothers, Carnell Spivey of Windsor, Johnnie Spivey of Como and Michael Davis of Bronx, NY; three sisters, Sharon Davis of Darlington, SC, Joann Davis and Lesley Davis of New Jersey; and two grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 8 at Mt. Ararat Missionary Baptist Church in Windsor. Burial will take place at the Spivey Family Cemetery in Windsor.
