Marie Green Knight, 83, of Adams Swamp Road, Suffolk, Va. died Wednesday, March 31, 2010 in the University of Virginia Health Systems, Charlottesville, Va.
Born in Suffolk, she was a farmer and a member of Eureka Baptist Church in Corapeake.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda K. Aswell of Suffolk, Va.; three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 3 at Eureka Baptist Church with the Rev. Mickey Willard officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Friends may join the family at the home of her daughter, 4565 Gates Run Drive, Suffolk, Va.
