Hein Vuurman, 78, of Wakelon Road, Colerain, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at his residence. Born in Arnhem, The Netherlands, he was a retired electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gerda A. Vuurman.
Survivors include three daughters, Elizabeth Murphy of Powellsville, Lee Morrow of Wilbraham, MA, and Kelly Booth of Warren, MA; five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Additional survivors include Ella Perry of the home.
Mr. Vuurman was a member of Bethany Baptist Church.
A funeral was held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 28 in the Ashley Memorial Chapel at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home with the Rev. Tommy Tripp officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Hillcrest Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to one’s favorite charity.
