Jarvas Shaquann Faison, 17, of Moore Road, Kelford, died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 Roanoke-Chowan Hospital in Ahoskie.
Born in Hertford County, he was a member of Beautiful Zion Baptist Church in Lewiston and a junior at Bertie High School in Windsor.
Survivors include his parents, James Faison and Stephanie Ann Hoggard of the home; a brother, Jarkyle Faison of the home; and grandparents, Carlton and Lena Faison of Kelford.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 30 at Beautiful Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Lewiston with the Rev. Daryl Edwards officiating. Burial will take place in the Hoggard Family Cemetery, Kelford.
