Christine Whitaker Boone, 46, of South Grace Street, Rocky Mount, formerly from Northampton County, died in Scotland Neck.
Born in Bertie County, she was a member of First Baptist Church Rich Square.
Survivors include a daughter, Karen Lee Conyers of Raleigh; two sons, Willie Boone III and Calvin M. Boone, both of Raleigh; her father, Wilson Whitaker of Conway; five brothers, Arthur Jacobs of Woodland, Wilson Whitaker Jr. of Paterson, NJ, James Whitaker of Rich Square, Thomas Whitaker of Jackson and Donald Whitaker of Rich Square; and three sisters, Ola Cunningham of Knightdale, Minnie Jones of Knightdale and Mary Boone of Rich Square.
A funeral will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 27 at Wilder’s Funeral Home Chapel, Rich Square, with the Rev. Ronald Taylor officiating. Burial will take place in Chapel Hill Baptist Church Cemetery, Rich Square.
