Thelma Bond Ruffin, 77, of Windsor died Monday, March 15, 2010 at Bertie Memorial Hospital, Windsor.
A native of Bertie County, she was a member of Cedar Landing Missionary Baptist Church where she served as custodian for a number of years.
She received her Practical Nursing degree in 1959 from the National School of Nursing in Philadelphia, Pa.
Funeral services were held on March 20 at Cedar Landing Missionary Baptist Church, Windsor, with Pastor Shelton R. Barnes officiating. Burial followed in Hillcrest Cemetery, Windsor.
Cherry Funeral Home, Windsor, handled the arrangements.
