Lizzie Grandberry Horton, 56, of Ahoskie died Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital, Ahoskie.
Born in Hertford County, she was a member of New Harrellsville Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Thomas E. Horton of Ahoskie; two daughters, Carol Privott and Loura A. Vernon, both of Ahoskie; two brothers, Dennis E. Grandberry of Ahoskie and Willie McCoy Grandberry of Harrellsville; five sisters, Gracie Ralph, Hilda Grandberry and Pennatta Grandberry, all of Newport News, Va., Nell D. Lassiter of Ahoskie and Mary Collins of Murfreesboro; and nine grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, March 22 at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will take place in New Harrellsville Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery.
