James Earl Britt, 58, a native of Hertford County, died Wednesday, March 17, 2010 in Washington, D.C.
Survivors include a son, Deandre Harrington of Dover, Del.; a daughter, Jacqueline Britt of Cofield; his father, John Clayton Britt Sr. of Como; a brother, John Clayton Britt Jr. of California; four sisters, Eva P. Britt of Washington, DC, Goldie Britt Manley of Maryland, Marva Harmon of Murfreesboro and Alice Mae Britt of Texas and a grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday March 23 at Murfreesboro First Baptist Church, Murfreesboro, with Pastor Robert D. Richardson officiating. Burial will take place at Carver Park Cemetery in Murfreesboro.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
