Doris Ransome Anderson, 94, of US 13 S., Ahoskie, died Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at her residence.
Born in Bertie County, she was a member of Conoconary Missionary Baptist Church in Aulander.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Pridgen of Portsmouth, Va., Yvonne Brown of Winton and Cynthia Bell of Ahoskie; 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and a great grandchild.
A funeral will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, March 13 at Nebo Baptist Church in Murfreesboro with Rev. James K. Brown officiating. Burial will take place at Pleasant Plains Baptist Church Cemetery, Ahoskie.
