Helen Hill

Helen Outland Hill, age 87, of the 300 block of Maple St., died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Roanoke Chowan Hospital.
Mrs. Hill was born in Philadelphia, Pa., on June 2, 1922, a daughter of the late Arthur and Mary Parker Outland.
She was a member of Murfreesboro Baptist Church and was retired as a Registered Nurse. She was the widow of Harry W. Hill.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Mary Lee Brown and husband, Bill, of Henderson; Martha Trader and husband, Tom, of Clemmons, and Betsy Coltrain and husband, Ronnie, of Murfreesboro; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
A celebration of life graveside service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Riverside Cemetery, Murfreesboro, with the Rev. Dr. Lee Canipe officiating.
The family will receive friends at Mrs. Hill’s home, 302 Maple St., Murfreesboro, from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
