Freida Elkins Massingale of US 158 West, Roduco, died Wednesday, February 24, 2010 in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.
Born in Big Creek, W. Va., she was a retired deli/bakery clerk and a member of Middle Swamp Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Bill Massingale; and a brother, John Chapman of Lexington Park, Md.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 6 in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home, Gatesville, with the Rev. Burt Pearce officiating. Burial will follow in Nansemond-Suffolk Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the residence.
