Edward Leon Bond, 88, of Sunbury died Monday, February 22, 2010 at his residence.
He was a native of Gates County.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Riddick of Chesapeake, Va.; and two brothers, Francis Bond of Delaware and Arthur Conrad Bond of Portsmouth, Va.
A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at Hertford County Undertakers Gates Chapel, Sunbury, with the Rev. Algeron Lassiter officiating. Burial will take place in St. John AME Zion Church Cemetery.
Hertford County Undertakers, Winton, is handling the arrangements.
