Evelyn White Jackson Parker, 90, formerly of Sunbury, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 at Consulate Healthcare of Windsor, Va.
Born in Chowan County, she was a retired secretary and member of Damascus Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, William Lloyd Jackson, Jr. of Edenton and Dalton Murray Parker, Jr. of Sunbury; three sisters, Mary Long and Clara Perry, both of Hertford and Bobbi Stillman of Edenton; two brothers, Wallace B. White and Rev. Robert C. White, both of Edenton; and two grandsons.
A funeral was held on Wednesday, February 24, 2010 at Damascus Christian Church by Rev. Robert C. White and Rev. Timothy Cornette. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
Friends joined the family at the home of her son, Murray, 49 McCoy Lane, Sunbury.
