Sidney Jenkins Jones, 83, of Piney Woods Road, Lewiston, died Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at the residence of her daughter.
Born in Bertie County, she was a retired cook and a member of First Baptist Church of Kelford in Kelford.
Survivors include four daughters, Eva Cuttino of Lewiston, Catherine Jones of Bronx, NY, Cynthia Delancey of Jamaica Queens, NY and Barabara A. Warren of Bronx, NY; two sons, Paul Jones Jr. of Sumter, SC and Dwight Edward Jones of Manhattan, NY; a brother, George Jenkins Jr. of Lewiston and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held on Sunday, Feb. 21 at First Baptist Church Kelford in Kelford by the Rev. Keyster Taylor. Burial took place in the Jones Family Cemetery in Lewiston.
Wilder’s Funeral Home Inc., Aulander, handled the arrangements.
