Richard Pope of Cofield died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville.
Survivors include two daughters, Jo Ann Vaughan of Cofield and Sharon Deloatch of Ahoskie; two stepdaughters, Lisa Edwards of Ahoskie and Katherine Wynn of Norfolk, Va.; a stepson, Ronald Hill of Ahoskie; a brother, Joe Lee Pope of Hampton, Va.; six sisters, Doris Simmons, Fredia Carter and Linda V. Pope, all of Cofield, Debra Simmons of Ahoskie, Carolyn Jackson and Sandra Bright, both of Inkster, Mich.; and four grandchildren
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21 at Phillipi Baptist Church in Cofield with Rev. Charlie Carter officiating. The burial will take place at the Pope Family Cemetery in Cofield.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
