Gracie Mae Cullipher Puckett, age 80, of Aulander, NC died Friday, February 12, 2010 at her home.
She was born September 20, 1929 in Bertie County to the late Walter Cullipher and Mattie Farless Cullipher. She was the wife of the late Johnnie Puckett.
She was a homemaker, a member of Colerain Baptist Church. She enjoyed dancing and bird watching.
A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the Ashley Memorial Chapel at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home in Ahoskie. Rev. Robert May will officiate.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Dan Puckett and his wife, Rita, of Ft. Wayne, Indiana; Cynthia Barriga and her husband, Charles, of Aulander; brothers, Melvin Cullipher of Aulander and Hezzie Cullipher of Emporia,Virginia, sisters; Brenda Cullipher of Aulander and Linda Dearborn of Racine, Wisconsin; and grandchildren; Bridget Puckett, Ryan Puckett and Alex Barriga.
The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
