Gretchen Virginia Jacobs, 79, of NC Hwy. 305, Jackson, died Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at the Halifax Regional Medical Center in Roanoke Rapids.
She was born in Halifax County.
Survivors include two children, Sondra Goffington Dickens and Reginald Keith Goffington, both of Jackson.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13 at Pine Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Jackson, with Pastor Timothy Edwards officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
