Larssie Cofield of Winton died Sunday, February 7, 2010 at her residence.
Survivors include two sons, Rev. Johnnie Cofield of Como and William Cofield of Ahoskie; nine daughters, Vertie Swain, Clarine Perry and Annie Leary, all of Winton; Marion Walton and Ruth Costen, both of Ahoskie, Irma Cofield of Cofield, Margorie Slade of Murfreesboro and Elizabeth Austin and Erma Boone, both of Merry Hill; 34 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and 24 great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 12 at Oxley Hill Missionary Baptist Church, Merry Hill, with Rev. Vonner Horton officiating. Burial is not confirmed at this time.
Reynolds Funeral Home, Ahoskie, is handling the arrangements.
