Neta Hargrove Futrell, 90, of Wendell and formerly of Jackson died Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh.
Born in Northampton County, she owned and operated We Care Day Care Center in Raleigh and was a member of Zebulon Baptist Church.
Survivors include two sons, Walter F. Futrell Jr. of Rich Square and Charles Futrell of Wendell; three grandsons and five great-grandchildren; and a brother, Willard Hargrove of Jackson.
A funeral will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 7 at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson with the Rev. Jack Glasgow officiating. Burial will follow at the Futrell Family Cemetery.
Prior to the service, the family will receive friends at Massey Funeral Home in Jackson from 2-3 p.m.
