William Earl Conner, 59, of Pinewood Manor died Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Roanoke-Chowan Hospital.
Born in Hertford County, he was a tree cutter and a member of Union Baptist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Conner Evans of Ruffin; three brothers, Wayne Conner of Murfreesboro; Ed Conner of Jacksonville, Fla. and Ray Conner of Woodland; two sisters, Sarah Turner of Colerain and Peggy Whitaker of Grimesland; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 31 in the Ashley Memorial Chapel at Garrett-Jones Funeral Home. Burial followed in Highland Memorial Gardens. Rev. Philip Tipton will officiate.
